Hey there! Thanks for visiting my blog. This blog came about through a combination of two things. First, I used to journal every day I went skiing. A quick narrative of where I went, who I was with, anything notable that happened, and what the snowpack was like. A little while ago, I filled that journal. Instead of getting a new one I decided to move my note keeping online, where I could combine photos with text to better capture the memories. And where friends and others could look at them. The second impetus for this blog was a to provide trip reports, so that others considering a ski route, or maybe just looking for someplace to ski, have a resource. 

A little bit about me:

Most days I ride a desk, but I'm still a ski bum at hear.

At various points in my life, I have been a whitewater kayaking instructor, worker at an independent gear shop, and a distance hiker on the Pacific Crest Trail. 

I have skied, climbed, and paddled across most of the U.S., Chile, Bolivia, and Mexico.
